Sorry for the lack of updates lately. The past two weeks have been busy for us, so here’s some stuff we’ve been up to:
Last weekend was Tammy’s birthday bash which was cool. We got to see a lot of our friends and family and just hang out and have fun with them.
It’s been hectic at work the last few weeks. Work has been picking up a little bit. We are actually putting in a new color digital press which will open up some more business opportunities for the company. We are building a new room for it and my office/cubicle will be moved to another room. I’m almost complete doing a complete redesign of all of the company marketing materials. I have almost all of the print materials done and printed (still working on one more piece), I have the new website designed, just waiting on some final content, started a new company blog that will launch with the new website and I started a company twitter account which is craftsmen_atl. We already have over 100 followers!
I’ve also had a lot of freelance graphic design work lately so I’ve come home from work to do some more design work, but it’s allowing us to put some money in savings which is good.
We went to see the movie Knowing last night. It started off good, but the ending isn’t so great
We started regularly attending Buckhead Church which Tammy and I both really enjoy. Tonight we actually attended their Grouplink session to meet people and form a small group. We met some really cool couples that we seemed to have a lot in common with. We are all going bowling on Monday as our first meeting. I’m really excited about it.
After 2 months of listing on craigslist, I sold my bass halfstack. My 4×10 sold a couple of weeks ago and my head sold today. I found a used pre-fender SWR Bass 350 that I bought with the money I sold my ampeg head for so, that is currently on its way to atlanta and should arrive sometime next week. It’s the same wattage as my ampeg head and has a tube pre…I’m excited about that. I’m going to pair that with an Avatar 2×10 Neo cab which only weighs about 40 lbs. which I can carry with one hand as opposed to my 4×10 which was 95 lbs. Should handle lows a little better due to the different speakers and I will still be able to run 350 watts through, just like I did the 4×10. I’ll post pics in the music room when I get it all put together.
Tammy and I decided to go to Orlando again this year for our 3rd anniversary. I can’t believe we have already been married for 3 years! We head to the beach a couple days too….Should be a nice relaxing and much needed vacation.
